37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
When someone is in need. Help Them! With food for the hungry no matter who they are! If someone needs clothing or a place to get out of the weather. Help Them! As though they were the King Himself! Many out there have become calloused to others feelings and needs because you don’t seem to want to take time out of your busy days! How would you like to be hungry and no one helps you and lets you starve! I’ve been there and no one helped me because they look at us as street trash! Many ask for prayers but you are to busy to pray for those in need! Very few ever even take the time to give words of encouragement to others! Encourage the ones who are depressed, you never know you might just save a life! I’ve been there and tried on many occasions to kill myself because everyone was to busy to listen to me!
Depression is a disease and sometimes its for no reason at all! You may have everything, even living a Godly life. But this disease is not controllable and often the treatment is worse than the disease. Listen to the ones who mourn and are heavy with burdens. Sometimes all we need is some compassion and an ear that hears! Sometimes just a smile from another can change your whole outlook!
There will come a time you will need the help of the ones you passed by on the streets and left them hungry and cold depressed! They will most likely help you because they know how it feels to be rejected by their fellow man! What if it was an angel who was in disguise and you refused to help! They do come in disguise to see what you will do!
Remember on the day you stand before the Father, all the ones you refuse to help will be witness against you and the only words from our King to you will be:
I Know You Not!
And heaven you will never see, like the scripture says: You Are Cursed and the lake of fire will be your new home!
